The spec bump!

Apple just dropped the next-gen Apple TV 4K and it houses some pretty cool features. Touted as the strongest Apple TV yet, the streaming box is powered by A15 Bionic Chip that, as per the brand, delivers 50% more CPU and 30% more GPU performance as compared to its previous iteration implying enhanced playback and gaming experience.

In-a-first, the new 3rd generation Apple TV 4K supports HDR 10+ alongside the existing support for Dolby Vision, this means more content can be viewed in HDR. It runs the latest tvOS 16 that includes updates to Siri for a better voice control experience. Now, Siri will also be able to recognise each user’s voice and canl show tailored recommendations based on personal preferences. The Siri remote also got a brand new USB-C port for charging.

Like before, the TV box can easily be integrated with the Apple Ecosystem with access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade for premium games and weekly content updates and last but definitely not least Apple Fitness+ for workout content in 4K ultra high definition.

The Apple TV 4K streaming box comes in two configurations, a Wifi only variant with 64GB of storage and a Wi-Fi+Ethernet variant with 128GB. The former is priced at ₹ 14,900 while the latter will cost you ₹ 16,900.
