World's Edge, the studio behind the Age of Empires games, just unveiled a trailer for Age of Mythology: Retold. It's a reboot of the classic 2002 game, mixing the nostalgia feels with modern gameplay and visuals. The trailer showed off epic battles, fancy godpowers, and even some spiffy new character designs for your favourite deities.

The Xbox Showcase just dropped a trailer showing off some sweet gameplay and a glimpse of Indy in action. It’s going to be a first-person game with lots of action and cheeky dialogues with old-school movie charm. This time, Indy and his pal Gina are chasing rumours about a mysterious artifact that could change the world. Their hunt takes them on a perilous trek through the Himalayas in the trailer.

The Doom Slayer is back, and this time he's taking his demon-slaying rampage medieval! Doom: The Dark Ages is a prequel to the 2016 reboot. Get ready to unleash the Slayer's over-the-top arsenal alongside a giant mech and a freakin' jet-powered cybernetic war dragon. Oh, and you have a chainsaw shield too for parrying and countering!

Forget the sunshine and rainbows! This year's Fable trailer throws us a dark curveball. We ditch the gardener-turned-giant (seriously?) for Humphry, a washed-up hero voiced by the hilarious Matt King. Time hasn't been kind to Humphry – his glory days are a distant memory. But when a shadowy figure emerges from his past, threatening all of Albion, Humphry's forced to dust off his rusty sword and get back in the hero game.
There's good news too! Fable is being co-developed by Playground Games and Eidos Montreal, the folks behind Deus Ex.

The game follows Hazel as she journeys through a flooded wasteland inspired by the Mississippi Delta. But it's not all scenic views – she's also joined by her mysterious new companion, Catfish. Things get hairy (literally) when they come face-to-face with Two-Toed Tom, a giant albino alligator with a taste for humans (and apparently, theme songs?).
The trailer shows off some cool combat and traversal moves, including Hazel's magical weaving abilities.

Move over, grubs! Gears of War is going back in time with a brand new mainline game: Gears of War: E-Day. This prequel takes us back 14 years to Emergence Day, the moment the monstrous Locust Horde first crawled out of the ground and ruined everyone's day.
Get ready to see a younger Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago face off against these nightmare creatures for the first time. The Coalition dropped a killer announcement trailer (made with the game's actual engine, no less!) that even features a new version of the classic "Mad World" song.

The Initiative just dropped the first look at gameplay for their Perfect Dark reboot, and Joanna Dark is back in action. In this near-future thriller, Earth is on the brink of collapse thanks to a series of environmental disasters. Joanna, a badass agent for dataDyne, is on the hunt for the world's most wanted criminal, Daniel Carrington. The trailer hints that Carrington might be behind some shady tech that could make things even worse.
Expect a mix of everything that made Perfect Dark great: fluid movement, cool gadgets, intense close-quarters combat, and of course, plenty of gunplay and stealth action. Perfect Dark is shaping up to be the ultimate secret agent experience. No release date yet, but stay tuned!

We all knew the zombie apocalypse wouldn't be a walk in the park, and State of Decay 3 proves it! Undead Labs just dropped a new, gritty trailer for their upcoming sequel, and things are looking intense.
It's been years since the infection went down, and the zombie threat is stronger than ever. You'll lead a ragtag crew of survivors, scavenging for resources, building a community, and facing off against the undead horde (including some seriously creepy new types). The trailer throws back to some classic State of Decay moments.
