After breaking free from Intel, Apple’s own silicon has been blazing through benchmarks. That said, the M2 in this Air is a gentle evolution of the M1 instead of big changes in the CPU architecture. This means the tangible performance enhancements are a smidge harder to notice if you’re coming from an M1-based Mac. Performance improvements come at a price. This time it's about ₹20,000 over the last-gen M1 Air. The perks of this more expensive model include superior cam quality, liquid retina display, speakers, larger keyboard and trackpad and the 12-14 hour battery life. Since Apple has chosen to continue selling the M1 Air, you may not want to upgrade just yet, since the performance boost is marginal.
