Fujifilm X-T5 mirrorless camera is focused on still photography

Fujifilm launched its new flagship X Series Model – The X-T5 in India and the Goldilocks of photography seems to have returned to the still-first approach with their fifth-gen snapper. A reason to make merry for photography purists.

The latest entrant in the company’s line of mirrorless cameras, the T5 comes with a fifth-generation back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel sensor X-TransTM CMOS 5 HR and the high-speed image processing engine X-Processor 5. The brand says this camera boasts improved image quality and a fast shutter speed of 1/180000 seconds. It also features the Pixel Shift Multi-Shot feature to expand photographic variations, Smooth Skin Effects, and Subject Detection AF. 

The form factor of the X-T5 is similar to the X-T series cameras, plus it retains the compact dimensions and ergonomic design along with the focus selection joystick and twin command dials. In terms of weight, the X-T5  is around 50g lighter than its previous iteration. And, its 3in touchscreen display is changed to a 3-axis articulation from the vari-angle display. 

Priced at ₹ 1,69,999, the Fujifilm X-T5 camera body comes in two colour variations: Black and Silver.
