The future is in the past - that’s the current sneaker trend Adidas is following or what it seems like. Re-imagining their earlier sneaker days with Adidas Nite Joggers and now the 90s chunky Ozweego. Imagine Jony Ive drilling the headphone jack back into the iPhone and calling it a trendsetter, quite exasperating, right? But Adidas won’t break your heart, probably the bank because the Ozweego drop for ₹10,999. That’s also not so bad given that you’ve got the Adiprene sole cushioning like the Yeezy 500. So if you’ve missed out on the opportunity to grab those, the Ozweego is a great head turner or might work to send your dad on a nostalgia trip. We got mixed reactions from the Stuff team (a bunch of tech nerds, ugh) around the design but the breathable upper inspired by the Ozweego 3 is fused with some 2019 DNA. There’s a translucent support tube that runs around the heel collar and into the eye stay panel which oozes out on the upper with a fair mix of suede and leather around. The Adidas Ozweego launch on 8th August. Make sure you pick up the Orange one or suffer countless wedgies in the college hallway.
