The affordable TWS market in India is getting more crowded than a Mumbai local train. Adding to that crowd is Amazon India, which has just dropped its second-gen Echo Buds.
The all-new Echo Buds sport a more contemporary design, which make them 20% smaller and lighter than the first gen buds. The nozzle too has been shortened for improved comfort, and one can choose from four eat tip sizes.
Among the highlights of these buds are the ANC on board. The system has mics inside and out, which work together to counteract background sounds. There’s also a Passthrough mode, when you want to be more aware of your surroundings.
Needless to say, there’s Alexa on board, and you can call her out without using your hands. You can ask her to play your tunes, call your friends, manage the calendar, and check the news – all without reaching for your phone.
These buds are also IPX4 certified for water resistance. The battery onboard the buds can last about five hours with ANC enabled, which can be pushed by another 10 hours courtesy of the charging case.
Amazon’s second-gen Echo Buds are priced at ₹11,999, and ₹13,999 (wireless charging case).
