Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are here!

You can’t shake the feeling that the Apple iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are cut from the same cloth as their predecessor. While the S moniker is no longer being used, the Apple iPhone 14 and the bigger Plus are giving us the S-feeling. It uses the same A15 Bionic chip from the Apple iPhone 13 but has one extra GPU core making it a total of 5 cores for the GPU over the 4-core GPU on the iPhone 13.

While the insides are a bit same-y, the 12MP main camera and the Ultra-wide lens at the back are new and the AI smarts called Photonic Engine will make your shots look crispy and more detailed, even in low light. The Apple iPhone 14 gets a bitesize 6.1-inch display meanwhile the Apple iPhone 14 Plus gets a pinky-shattering 6.7-inch. Both models also have an updated internal design for better thermal performance, gorgeous Super Retina XDR OLED displays with eye-searing 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness and Dolby Vision.

Oh yes, the iPhones also have a new dual-core accelerometer which can detect G-force measurements of up to 256Gs. Toss in a new high dynamic range gyroscope and Apple has a new system in place called Crash Detection. It basically lets the iPhone detect a severe car crash and automatically dial emergency services when the user is unconscious or unable to reach their iPhone. There are a few minor upgrades as well but you’ll need a degree in reading spec sheets to get through it all. The gist of it is that the Apple iPhone 14 and the 14 Plus are available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants. The Apple iPhone 14 is priced starting from ₹79,900, ₹89,900 and ₹1,09,900 as you go up for more storage. Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 14 Plus starts from ₹89,900 and goes up to ₹99,900 and ₹1,19,900 for higher storage options.
