Apple has introduced a new Invites app for iPhone, designed to make event planning more personalised. Moving beyond basic calendar invites, the app lets you create and share custom invitations, track RSVPs, and even collaborate on Shared Albums and Apple Music playlists linked to the event. While free to download, it requires an iCloud+ subscription (starting at ₹75/month).

Apple’s Invites app taps into Apple Intelligence to personalise invitations, curate music playlists, and auto-generate shared photo albums. Getting started is simple—pick an image from your photo library or choose from the app’s curated backgrounds, tailored for various occasions. Plus, built-in Maps and Weather integrations ensure guests get directions and a forecast for your big day.

Guests can also add photos and videos to a Shared Album within each invite, creating a collaborative space to capture and relive memories. Apple Music subscribers can also curate event playlists, letting attendees access the soundtrack directly from Apple Invites.

Starting February 4, Apple Invites will be available for download on the App Store or accessible via the web at icloud.com/invites. While iCloud+ subscribers can create invitations, anyone—with or without an Apple account or device—can RSVP.
