Asus Vivobook 13 Slate is an OLED slab for Netflix and chill

By yourself that is…

There’s a new Windows computer in town and it’s not meant to be used as a computer. Shocked? We’re too but that’s how Asus’ Vivobook 13 Slate is destined to be. It’s a computer alright, with Windows faff and all, but the bottom line is, there’s a sweet 13.3in OLED display slapped on the body with a detachable keyboard.

The windows tablet has a 50Whr battery and a convenient hinge to help you get through all seasons of The Office. Although, the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support might lure you to try Netflix’s givings. Hopefully, Windows doesn’t ruin the HDR fun. That said, the display itself has 550 nits of brightness and a billion something colours.

Under the hood, there’s very little happening. You can pull out a stylus and start chalking your daily routine, but other than that and you’ll be trudged down by the Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor. The only way to best describe the Vivobook 13 Slate is through the everlasting words of Vidya Balan — entertainment, entertainment, entertainment.

Although for a starting price of ₹45,990, the Slate is awfully close to the iPad’s territory.
