The act of balancing, in life or on the road, is pretty important and always carried out by self. But not anymore, with Liger scooters you can take a break from balancing because these scooters are claimed to be the world’s first self-balancing two-wheelers.

Designed by IIT Alumni Vikas Poddare and Ashutosh Upadhyay and showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the Liger X and Liger X+ are production-ready prototypes that run on patented AutoBalancing technology and have a built-in gyroscope that enables the scooters to balance automatically.

Both the variants of the electric scooter come with a top speed of 65 kmph, the X version runs for 60 km on full battery and the X+ runs for 100 km once charged fully. The Liger X gets a detachable battery pack while the Liger X+ features a built-in non-detachable battery that takes aprox 4.5 hours to charge. There is also a fast charging upgrade available on both the versions. Some of the other cool features on the two-wheelers include turn-by-turn navigation, GPS-enabled architecture and TFT display.

There is also an app to go with the Liger scooters, once paired you can check all details like the live location of the vehicle, ride history, battery percentage and temperature, via the app.
