Full-frame cameras are great, but will put a big dent in your bank balance. Thankfully we have APS-C cameras that have a relatively lower price tag, but without compromising on features. If you’re on the lookout for such cameras, Canon has launched the EOS R7 and the EOS R10 in India.
The Canon EOS R10 is a compact and lightweight camera aimed at content creators. It packs a 24.2MP sensor with dual pixel autofocus, and support for up to 4K videos at 60fps. There’s built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for sharing files, and an HDMI port for streaming.
The EOS R7, on the other hand, features a 32.5MP sensor with Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus system, making it the more expensive alternative. Despite its compact size, the camera comes in a weather-sealed body just like its full-frame EOS R brethren. It supports 4K videos at 60fps, and has two card slots on board for instant backup.
Prices for the Canon EOS R10 start from ₹80,995 (body), and ₹1,27,995 (body) for the EOS R7. Canon has also announced a range of lenses that pair with these mirrorless cameras with prices starting from ₹28,995. This new range of cameras and lenses will be available in India starting in July.
