Intel has been singing about their 12th generation processors as the world’s best and to some extent, we kinda agree because of the Intel 12900K desktop variant that we tested a while ago. It’s excessively powerful and an absolute delight for high-end gaming.
Like clockwork, that same goodness is spreading into mobile devices like laptops. The 12 Gen H-series are built on a 7nm process node with the hybrid design of splitting the thing in performance and efficiency cores.
If you can’t grasp all of that then know that Intel says the 12th Gen 12900HK can deliver up to 40% higher performance and 28% faster gameplay (whatever that means) over the i9-11980HK 11th Gen. All that will be squeezed into your upcoming Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI and Razer gaming laptops. The U-Series is going to be for the ultra-thin and light laptop whereas the P-Series will be for the folks who want the best of both worlds.
