Thin and light: two words rarely used for a feature-laden laptop but Acer’s latest Swift Go is both, at least as per the brand. And the range has an OLED display too.

The brand launched the very first models from its new Acer Swift Go line adding new members to its Swift family of notebooks. The brand new Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 come with an OLED display with 500-nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour range and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500-certification.

Individually, the Go 16 features a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with 3200x2000 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate while the Go 14 has a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 2880x1800 resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Both are TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe display certified and have a 16:10 ratio and touch-optional capabilities.

Design-wise, they have a 14.9mm aluminium chassis with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-slim side bezels. The 14in model sports 4.15mm bezels and weighs less than 1.3kg. The 16in version has 4.2mm bezels and weighs around 1.6kg.

The laptops also have backlit keyboards and OceanGlass touchpads for a smooth scrolling experience. The devices are powered by Intel Evo 13th Gen Core H-series processors with the Intel Movidius VPU. The devices also feature Intel Unison to let users easily connect their PCs with Android or iOS devices. Both the devices feature a range of ports including USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD card reader.

Guessing the prices already? The Acer Swift Go 16 comes at $799 (around ₹65,800) and the Acer Swift Go 14 comes at $849 (around ₹69,917).
