Alienware and Dell took the stage at CES 2023 to take wraps off of six new gaming laptops including the highly anticipated and awaited Alienware M18.

Touted as the performance juggernaut, the 18in Alienware is said to be the brand’s most powerful gaming device. It comes with a range of CPU and GPU customization options including a choice between team rec and team blue. Starting with up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processors and a healthy list of Nvidia GeForce RTX laptop GPUs, plus next-gen AMD Ryzen Processors and Radeon Graphics as well.

The device is as thick as its previous iteration the M17 but offers 14% more space on screen with expandable storage of up to 9TB. The panel options include either 165Hz QHD or 480Hz FHD displays with Dynamic Display Switching technology, G-Sync and FreeSync support. The brand says this version has a stronger chassis too.

Significant thermal improvements have also been made to the new Alienware M18 like Element 31 thermal interface material is now used on both the CPU and the GPU and the vapour chamber is used to surround the GPU and CPU, thus increasing the thermal capacity by 35%. Furthermore, quad fans with ultra-thin fan blades also increase airflow by 25%. So we believe overheating won’t be an issue even after rigorous use.

The other devices that are launched with the M18 are Alienware M16, Alienware X16 and X14, and Dell G16 and G15. The prices are not yet revealed but stay tuned with us to know more!
