Ferrari's latest supercar has had the curtain lifted off it - the Ferrari F80 is the latest to come out of Maranello, and promises to be the exotic car maker's finest work yet. It's being produced in a limited run of just 799 vehicles, and comes with 1200hp of power from its V6-hybrid powertrain. In an age where carmakers are increasingly moving towards electric powertrains, Ferrari remains unashamedly committed to the internal combustion engine, and claims that the F80 is an extreme development as far as ICEs go. It's also claimed to be the most powerful Ferrari ever.

The two-seater Ferrari F80 features a narrow cabin with a driver-centric layout, but is still said to be plenty comfortable for two people. Taking inspiration from its World Endurance Championship and F1 powertrains, the Ferrari F80 has a hybrid powertrain comprising of a turbocharged 3L V6 ICE engine mated to an 800V hybrid system.
Welcome to the new Ferrari F80.

The embodiment of the ultimate in engineering. A V6-hybrid powertrain derived from racing and unleashing 1,200 cv – more powerful than any other road car to leave the gates of Maranello. #FerrariF80 #FerrariSupercars #Ferrari pic.twitter.com/4lREfNKii1
Other key specs of the Ferrari F80 are as impressive as you'd expect, with a top speed of 350km/h, an 8-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission, and a 0-100km/h time of 2.15 seconds. Expectedly, it'll be road legal, and likely the most desirable object on the road for the 799 lucky owners who manage to snag one. Reports suggest that it'll come with a cool $4 Million price tag.
