It’s not always easy to tap on your smartwatch’s small screen to open apps or perform certain tasks. Garmin is making our lives easier by adding voice assistant support on its latest Venu 2 Plus smartwatch.
Unveiled at CES 2022, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus supports Apple’s Siri, Google Assistant, and yes, even Samsung’s Bixby. You can take the help of the assistants to respond to notifications, control smart home devices, and even answers to your queries. Another interesting feature is the ability to make voice calls directly from the watch, so your phone can remain in your pockets.
The smartwatch is also good at tracking your workouts, besides monitoring your heart-rate, stress levels, blood oxygen levels, sleep patterns, respiration, and menstrual cycles. A built-in tool called Health Snapshot generates a comprehensive report on your health, while the Body Battery Energy Monitor measures the body's energy throughout the day.
The 43mm Venu 2 Plus sports a 1.3in AMOLED (416x416 pixels) display, and is said to offer up to nine days of battery life. It is priced at ₹46,990, and is available in three colour options – graphite black, powder grey, and cream gold.
