GoPro has given its 360-degree shooter a fresh lease of life with a revamped Max 360 camera. Now featuring a Max Enduro battery for longer runtimes and an upgraded mounting system, it is compatible with all standard ¼-20 tripod mounts—no more fiddly adapters required.

The refreshed Max 360 captures 5.6K spherical footage, with standard shooting modes topping out at 1440p. Borrowing some of the best tricks from the Hero series, it comes loaded with HyperSmooth stabilisation and horizon levelling.

The cam also features six built-in microphones that can capture sound in stereo or bi-directionally. GoPro is also packed in digital lenses, letting you switch between linear, wide, and ultra-wide views. It features a 1600mAh Enduro battery and improved cold-weather performance.

GoPro has overhauled its 360-degree mobile editing experience in the Quik app, making it easier to craft edits from Max footage. With AI-powered tools and intuitive controls, GoPro says the latest update streamlines the entire process.

AI-powered object Tracking keeps your chosen subject in focus throughout the clip, automatically adjusting the framing. Keyframing allows for precise control, letting you set viewpoints and adjust digital lens settings as needed. CameraFx introduces preset movements like backflips and barrel rolls.

Automatic Transitions enable multiple ReFrame Mode changes within a clip, with Quik blending them smoothly. Single Clip Edits provide options to apply filters, adjust audio levels, and fine-tune colours on individual clips. The new Frame Grab tool also simplifies extracting still images from 360 videos.

The GoPro Max 360 is priced at ₹38,500.
