The GoPro Volta Grip is available for ₹13,500 in India starting from 16th of May.
One glance on the internet and you’ll be greeted with mods and accessories for your GoPro beyond your wildest imagination. Underwater or up in the skies, there’s a perfect mod for every occasion. And to keep the list going, GoPro has launched the Volta. A fancy tripod that connects to your GoPro Hero10 Black via USB Type-C and enables all sorts of one hand use functions.
The GoPro Volta has a battery pack of 4900 mAh which powers its own functions and can be used to charge the GoPro Hero10 Black as well. It also comes with integrated camera buttons and status lights to indicate battery life and camera mode. The tripod is also designed like the Shorty with tripod legs that can be clamped back to make one-hand grip easier.
GoPro says you can get around four hours of 5.3K/30 recording from the battery inside the Voltra which is quite impressive and if you just want to control the GoPro from afar, there’s a wireless connection on the Volta which lets you control the GoPro from up to 30m away.
Alas, you won’t have to whip out your smartphone for every hands-free shot and speaking of which, you can also charge any USB Type-C device with the Volta’s build-in battery bank. Sorry iPhone users. Fair warning, the Volta is not waterproof and if you’re also wondering if other GoPro mods can still sit atop, then yes, yes, they can. Now go jump off a plane with a parachute and send the footage to Redbull.
