HTC Desire 22 Pro is a strong mid-ranger XR device support

HTC may not be a brand that's often talked about in the smartphone circles these days, but that doesn't mean it has disappeared. The brand has just launched a new smartphone, called the HTC Desire 22 Pro, which supports 2D as well as 3D content on extended reality (XR) devices such as HTC Vive Flow VR glasses.

With a 6.6in FHD+ 120Hz display, the smartphone packs in a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB storage.The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 12, and crams in a 4,520mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge 3.0 support in a rather slim form factor. It also has support for wireless reverse wireless charging. 

On the camera front, the Desire 22 Pro features a triple rear camera setup encompassing a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP camera. 

Connectivity options on the Desire 22 Pro include 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a Type-C port. The smartphone comes with an IP67 rating, and is available in a black colour option. The HTC Desire 22 Pro is priced at £399 (₹38,550 approx).
