Huawei has launched a new smartwatch that is out to become your gym buddy. Called the Huawei Watch Fit 2, it comes in three variants — Active Edition, Classic Edition, and Elegant Edition. The wearable can track nearly 100 workout types, and is packed with features to track your fitness regime.
The Active Edition gets silicone straps with a polymer front and rear case for those constantly on the move. The Classic Edition is paired with leather straps, and Elegant Edition gets metal straps while both have an aluminium front case with a polymer rear case. The wearables boast a link design that allows users to easily switch between different bands.
The smartwatch features a 1.74in AMOLED touchscreen display with 336x480 pixels resolution with a bunch of watch faces, and an Always-on Display. You can further customise the watch by downloading more watch faces from the Store. One can also use their own photo as a watch face using the Huawei Health App or OneHop.
The watch includes various health-related features for seven common activities, and also supports up to 97 workout modes. Using the sensors onboard, it can monitor blood oxygen levels (SpO2), heart-rate via an optical heart rate sensor, sleep, and track stress.
There’s support for Bluetooth calling, music control, virtual assistant, and 5ATM water-resistance. The smartwatch is compatible with Android 6.0 or later, and iOS 9.0 or later.
The Huawei Watch Fit 2 uses a magnetic charging thimble, and offers up to 10 days of battery life. Prices for the Active edition start at €149 (approx ₹12,100), and Classic Edition at €199 (approx ₹16,200). Lastly, the Elegant Edition is priced at €249 (approx ₹20,250).
