Whether you’re a student or a working professional, video chats have become almost second nature in this work/study from home era. It comes as no surprise that brands are focusing on the oft forgotten feature on a laptop. Take for instance the new Infinix INBook X2 laptop, which features a webcam flanked by dual-flash.
The HD webcam embedded into the display’s bezel has two LED flashes on either side. Infinix says the flash works in tandem to brighten up the subject during a live video or meeting.
The Windows 11 laptop comes in bright colours and is quite lightweight as well at 1.24kg. It is also just 14.8mm at its thickest point, so portability is in its very nature. Colour options include grey, blue, green and red.
Specs-wise, it comes with a 14in IPS LCD display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1920x1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood is a 10th gen Intel CPU (up to Core i7), and an Iris Plus G7 GPU on the top variant. There’s also up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB storage on offer.
Connectivity options include two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a full-sized HDMI connector, an SD card slot, and an audio jack. There’s also a fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button. Making sure everything ticks is a 50Wh battery, which Infinix says is good enough for up to nine hours of mixed usage on a single charge.
The Infinix INBook X2 will be going on sale in select countries later this month, with prices starting from $399 (approx ₹29,600). There’s however no word on an India launch yet.
