Insta360 has launched the latest 360-degree camera in its lineup and it's quite a mouthful. The One RS 1-inch 360 Edition, is among the most expensive consumer 360 cameras to date with a price tag of $800 (₹63,000 approx).
With several upgrades from its predecessor, the new camera includes five main parts – 360-degree lens, a lens cap, a mounting bracket, a battery, and a One RS Core. The upgrades come with the inclusion of two 1in CMOS sensors, enabling you to record 360-degree videos in 6K resolution and take photographs at 21MP. It also has the ability to shoot higher-quality images in low-light environments.
Equipped with FlowState Stabilization and Horizontal Lock, the camera can create smooth and stable footage. It additionally melds multiple photos together to create wraparound shots and the AI automates the editing process via Insta360 Shot Lab app.
There are also some physical add-ons for your camera, including the vertical battery base housing a 1,350mAh battery, the Quick Reader for rapid file transfer and a Mic Adapter, to plug in a 3.5mm microphone. All this is held in place by a mounting bracket. Additionally, owners of the previous models (the R and RS) can purchase just the battery, mounting bracket, and dual 1-inch 360 sensors for $650 (₹51,000 approx).
