Fujifilm is beefing up its Instax family with the new Instax Wide Evo camera. The hybrid instant camera is a scaled-up version of the Mini Evo – it shoots in Instax Wide format. So, instead of cute little Mini prints, you're getting photos that are double the width.
The Instax Wide Evo, designed to handle wider film, features a 1/3-inch CMOS with primary color filter sensor – the widest-angle lens ever seen on an Instax camera, as per the brand. This lens lets you snap wide-angle shots and capture more of the scene. But, if you want a closer crop, just flip a switch to turn off the wide-angle and get a tighter frame.
It has a 3.5-inch LCD that lets you frame your shots and navigate menus for effects, settings, and image editing. It comes with a ton of creative options – you can choose from 10 lens effects and 10 film effects, and combine two of them to get unique looks. Plus, you can adjust the intensity of these effects using the Degree Control, which is controlled by a ring on the lens.
The camera has dials on either side to scroll through the different lenses and film effects. The Instax Wide Evo also has five extra film style customisations, like adding classic film strip holes, giving your photos a cool "retro contact sheet" look, or even stamping the date and time right on the image.

The Instax Wide Evo also doubles as a printer. You can connect it to your smartphone via Bluetooth and print photos directly from your phone's camera roll. The app also lets you use your phone as a remote control.
Fujifilm claims you can print up to 100 images on a single charge. And, if you need more storage, there's a microSD card slot to expand the camera's internal memory (which only holds about 45 images out of the box).
The Instax Wide Evo comes with a price tag of ₹47,999.
