Intel’s answer to Nvidia and AMD is finally surfacing and now we have some official announcements too. The Intel Arc Pro A-series GPUs are focused on the professional side of things for mobile and small form factor desktops. First up in the lineup are the Intel Arc Pro A30M GPU for mobile platforms and then we have the Intel Arc Pro A40 (single slot) and A50 (dual slot) GPUs for smaller form factor desktops. All the models will feature built-in ray tracing hardware, machine learning capabilities and AV1 hardware encoding acceleration.
The A-series graphics also come with certifications from software applications that are common with architecture, engineering and construction, and design and manufacturing industries. It is also optimized for Blender, and run open source libraries in the Intel oneAPI Rendering Toolkit. These Intel Arc Pro GPUs will be available later this year through companies making mobile and desktop systems.
