Lenovo has Samsung and Apple’s premium tablets in its crosshairs, as it launches its own flagship-grade tablet. Called the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro, it is a ₹69,999 tablet that offers optional 5G, a large 12.6in AMOLED display, supercharged JBL speakers, and more.
As mentioned, the Tab P12 Pro is available in two variants – Wi-Fi only and 5G. Features-wise you get a 12.6in AMOLED (2560 x 1600 pixels) display boasting up to 600 nits of brightness, and support for HDR, HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision.
Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC along with Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB storage. There is a pair of 13MP and 5MP cameras at the back, and an 8MP + ToF sensor up front.
The tab is equipped with four speakers tuned by JBL for improved clarity and deeper bass for all your playback needs. The tablet comes crammed with a 10,200mAh battery giving you about 17 hours of playback. It is compatible with a 45W quick charger via USB-C, though taking a tip from Apple, it frustratingly comes without one in the box.
Weighing in just 565g, the tablet can be fitted with a magnetically attachable keyboard, bringing the weight up to around 1kg. Improvements have been made to both the keyboard and the Lenovo Precision Pen 3.
