LG shows off new smart oven and microwave at CES 2022

Keeping the kitchen as smart as the rest of your home, LG has announced two new products at CES 2022. The LG InstaView Double Oven Range and Over-the-Range Microwave Oven will feature not only advanced cooking technologies, but also useful integration with the LG ThinQ Recipe service. If you find something that catches your eye, you could even order ingredients required for it with the accompanying app. 

 

LG’s InstaView, a technology that first debuted on their refrigerators, makes an appearance on the Double Oven Range now. It allows you double tap on the glass to reveal how far the items have been cooked, and even switches on the internal light to make it easier. 

 

The ProBake Convection technology uses intelligent airflow and temperature control and also has a built-in Air-Fry mode for cooking with the least amount of oil possible. 

 

The Over-the-Range Microwave Oven, on the other hand, has a Steam Cook mode in a bid to keep the nutrients intact and your food tasting juicier. A specially designed vent system removes any lingering odours in the kitchen so it smells like a spa, even though it may look like a warzone.
