If you’ve got Marantz’s latest Grand Horizon wireless speaker, it will probably steal the spotlight in your home long before you even power it up. With its bold circular design and a real marble base, this speaker is all about making a style statement while satisfying the music lover in you. It’s not a stretch to call it a piece of art—and at $5,500 (approx ₹4,62,377), it’s got the price tag to match. Word on the street is that it’s headed to India soon too.

Marantz has packed these speakers with an array of drivers and a central subwoofer to deliver room-filling sound. The Grand Horizon features a 20cm subwoofer, three 25mm tweeters and four 7.6cm midrange units. It’s got wireless chops too, with direct access to streaming services. Wrapped in eco-friendly fabric made from recycled ocean plastics, its spherical design pushes sound in all directions for 360-degree coverage, per Marantz. A ring of 100 LEDs on the front lights up when you approach and doubles as a touch-sensitive volume control.

At the core of the Grand Horizon’s sound is Marantz’s proprietary 'Rise amplification tech,' a system designed for quick response and thermal efficiency, delivering a claimed output of 370 watts. This muscle fuels Marantz’s Gravity drive units, which use neodymium magnets to promise a mix of precision, responsiveness, and minimal distortion.

On the connectivity front, it’s well-equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect. If you prefer wires, you’ll find RCA inputs, an optical TOSLINK port, HDMI eARC (perfect for TV audio), and even a USB-C port that can play MP3, AAC, and FLAC files directly from an external drive.
