Marshall speakers have a reputation for producing good music - ya we’ll know, but they also get a special mention when the discussion is about classic rock n’ roll and old-school style. With each generation, the brand keeps on upgrading the innards but the look and feel of a Marshall speaker have remained the same for over half a century making it a little more desirable.

The latest in the market and one in the discussion here is Marshall Generation III of the home line-up – Acton III, Stanmore III and Woburn III. The new range of course has all the elements people love about the classic home line series, signature details such as Marshall script, brass control dials and the iconic design.

What's new, you’re wondering? The brand says all three speakers have been re-engineered with a wider soundstage than its previous iterations. The tweeters are now angled outwards and waveguides are also updated for consistently solid sound.

Just like its previous generation, the new speakers are also laced with an easy plug-and-play feature. All the dials and buttons including the Bluetooth pairing button, power switch, bass and treble controls and the control knob are on the front of the device.

They have Bluetooth 5.2 and a 3.5 mm input, plus you can also download and connect to the Marshall Bluetooth app to access advanced settings and Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. The Woburn III also comes with an HDMI input, which allows you to connect the speaker to the TV and utilise the Night Mode feature. However, we wonder why these speakers still don’t have WiFi streaming.

As for price, the Acton III comes for ₹ 31,999, the Stanmore III for ₹ 41,999 and the Woburn III is priced at ₹ 59,999.
