Slowly but surely MediaTek has clawed its way back into our pockets with a bunch of mid-range smartphones opting for the Taiwanese brand’s all-new Dimensity 9000 chipset. According to MediaTek, brands like Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and Honor should be harnessing the power of this octa-core processor.
It has one ultra Cortex-X2 core operating at up to 3.05GHz, three performance A710 cores operating at up to 2.85GHz, and four efficiency Cortex-A510 cores. There’s also a new Application Processing Unit (APU) in here that handles performance and efficiency along with an Arm Mali-G710 MC10 GPU that takes care of your gaming needs. Throw in the MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0, and the GPU will sing with AI optimisation for better performance. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip also comes with dual 5G SIM support, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.
