MG Motor enters the metaverse with the launch of the MGverse

A portal to a virtual dimension

MG Motor India has become the latest brand to enter the metaverse. Called the ‘MGverse’, this platform is intended to offer customers and stakeholders an immersive experience via different virtual arenas. 

The automaker aims to encourage everyone connected to the brand to come together to “play, engage, collaborate, co-create, socialise and shop” on this virtual platform. 

The MGverse boasts of five experience centres, including Explore and Creator’s centre, NFT Gallery, MG Car Club, Gaming Arena, and MG Knowledge centre. 

The Explore and Creator’s centre allows potential buyers to virtually experience MG cars, build their own variants, and even book a car. NFT gallery, as the name suggests, gives everyone the ability to create and earn through their own creation. 

The car club encourages existing owners to build a community, and lastly, the Knowledge centre offers MG’s partners and employees a platform to upskill.  

The MGverse is accessible via phones or any web browser. There are also plans to bring this experience to the world of virtual reality.
