There was a time when watches were only supposed to tell us time, then came the era of contemporary-looking smartwatches followed by smart wearables that are also fitness trackers, now it's the ‘made-in-India’ phase where brands are using the concept right, left and centre to market their smart wearables. This time it's the new Mivi smartwatch that called our attention.
The brand has made its entry into the segment with its very first Model E smartwatches. Touted as ‘truly made-in-India, the smartwatches have a 1.69in HD touch screen, Bluetooth 5.1 and a 200 mAh lithium polymer battery with magnetic charging.
The Model E smartwatches have silicone straps and stainless steel dials, plus they are compatible with both Android and iOS for maximum accessibility. The Model E devices support 28 languages and 120 sports modes.
Just like most other smartwatches in the market, these too come with pre-installed workout modes such as cycling, jogging, hiking, walking et cetera. The watches are IP68-rated and have a G-sensor that makes it easy to track steps and monitor sleep, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and exercise data.
The Model E watches come at a price of ₹1299 and is available in five colour variants: Pink, Blue, Red, Grey, Green and Black.
