Pantone has announced their Colour of the Year and it’s only logical that a ton of brands are going to hop aboard and launch their flagships in this interesting colour to draw more eyes. This year’s colour is Viva Magenta and Motorola is one of the first to piggyback off the trend with the launch of the Edge 30 Fusion in this colourway, to join the existing options of Solar Gold and Cosmic Grey.
The skin may be stunning, but what about the insides? The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion sports a curved 6.55-inch 10-bit 1080p pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering up to 1100nits of peak brightness. Equipped with copious amounts of glass to accompany the sleek, curved display, the phone carries Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for screen protection. You can unlock your phone via an in-display fingerprint scanner and the device comes with HDR10 Plus playback support.
Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Running on Android 12-based MyUI 4.0, the smartphone is powered by a 4,400mAh battery which brings 68W fast wired charging support. The device offers connectivity options including 5G (13 bands), Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2. For optics, it packs on a 50MP main sensor, an optically stabilised (OIS) lens paired with a 13MP ultrawide and another depth sensor on the rear and a 32MP selfie shooter up front.
The Viva Magenta Motorola Edge 30 Fusion will be available starting from January 12 on Flipkart and other leading retail stores and will be priced at ₹42,999.
