Motorola has quietly added a new smartphone to its budget lineup – Moto G22. While the specs onboard are unlikely to set any benchmarking charts on fire, the focus here seems to be on offering a well rounded value proposition.
The Moto G22 features a 6.5in HD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 chip paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. There’s also 64GB storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
Other features include a quad-cam (50MP+8MP+2MP+2MP) setup at the back, 16MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support, and 5G support. On the software side, it runs a near stock-version of Android 12.
The Moto G22 is priced at €169.99 (approx ₹14,300), and is currently available in select regions. Though an India launch could soon be on the cards. Colour options include Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Pearl White.
