One of the first things we know about the phone is what’s hiding under the hood. OnePlus has revealed that its upcoming smartphone will be powered by A MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, which might be a tweaked version of the Dimensity 8100. Going by the ‘Max’ in the nomenclature, this chip could have a faster clock speed or even a more powerful GPU.
Another feature that OnePlus has confirmed is to do with how the battery charges. The OnePlus 10R 5G will support 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which is said to be capable of juicing up the 4,500mAh battery in just 17 minutes.
The device will be available in a few colour options, including Arctic Glow, Green, and Sierra Black. OnePlus will be revealing a couple of features tomorrow (April 17). Based on rumours, the OnePlus 10R 5G is likely to feature a 6.7in FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a camera setup that includes 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.
