It’s time to Polk the bear

Polk Audio’s first Dolby Atmos soundbar cuts the chords on its sub and promises a decluttered home theatre system. The Polk Signa S4 packs in seven drivers out of which two are upward-firing speakers that facilitate the Dolby Height channels to create the effect overhead. But that’s not all, the Polk Signa S4 can also take your regular audio and up-mix it for surround sound, including height to create a proper Dolby Atmos experience.

Other fancy bits include Polk’s VoiceAdjust tech that features on the centre channel which aids in clearer and crisper dialogues. The wireless sub can be tuned to your liking (so can the soundbar itself) and the bass can be adjusted to suit your room’s needs and you get the freedom to place it upto 10m away from the main soundbar unit. There’s Bluetooth on board for direct streaming and the HDMI port supports eARC so it can stream Dolby Atmos content natively from your telly!

While Polk’s Signa range has been priced around the 25,000 - 35,000 mark, we expect a slight bump in price for the S4, but we can only confirm after official prices are out.
