Realme has unveiled yet another feature-packed phone that won’t burn a hole in your pocket. Called the Realme Q5x, it is the successor to the Realme Q5i, and the Realme Q5.
It features a 6.5in IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels), 20:9 aspect ratio, and 400 nits of brightness. Sporting a teardrop notch, it has an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio. As one would expect, the smartphone runs Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, the handset is available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It also has a microSD card slot in case you require more storage. The device is also packed with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
On the camera front, this phone has a 5MP front camera accompanied by a dual-camera system on the rear with a dual-LED flash. The rear camera setup is made up of a 13MP main camera, and a 0.3MP depth sensor. With a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security and features like Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, this budget phone gets the job done.
Available in two colour variants – Ink Cloud Black and Star Blue, the Realme Q5x is priced at 999 Yuan (approx ₹11,600). Indian details are yet to be announced.
