Rockstar Games just dropped a bombshell that's got us hootin' and hollerin' like a pack of coyotes. Red Dead Redemption, along with its spooky sidekick, Undead Nightmare, is moseyin' on over to PC on October 29th. That's right, folks, John Marston's adventure is finally getting the PC treatment it deserves. No more squinting at your console screen trying to make out if that's a bandit or a tumbleweed in the distance. This time around, you can experience the Wild West in glorious 4K resolution at a buttery-smooth 144hz (if your rig can handle it, that is!).
They've even gone and added support for ultrawide and super ultrawide monitors, HDR10, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. So, you can finally ditch that controller and experience the thrill of gunning down outlaws with pinpoint precision. This PC release is saddled up with all the bells and whistles, including Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies. Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation is also supported along with adjustable draw distances and shadow quality settings.
Keep your eyes peeled for more info on pre-ordering this bad boy later this week. It'll be available on the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
