As a gamer in today’s market, you can often feel like a kid in a candy store. There are so many options you don’t know where to look! Well, here comes another gaming phone to add to your dilemma (Sophie’s Choice seemed easier, right?). The Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro are the company's latest gaming flagships. Equipped with several top-of-the-line features, the pair are ready to put a dent in your pocket starting at ¥5,199 (approx. ₹60,000) and ¥ 5,999(approx. ₹71,000) respectively.

Sporting similar designs to their predecessors launched earlier this year, both phones feature new upgrades in the form of an under-display front camera. The new models retain the same iconic semi-transparent look, with the addition of a strip-like camera module with cameras aligned linearly. It even sports a cooling fan with RGB lights. To make gaming a little easier, the smartphones pack two pressure-sensitive gaming triggers on the right and a red switch to activate liquid cooling on the left.

The 7S flaunts a  6.8-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with LTM and DC dimming with a 165hz refresh rate. Powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the model packs in up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. For cooling, the phone features ICE 9.0 liquid-cooling technology a built-in fan that circulates air at speed of up to 20,000RPM. With a 64MP triple rear camera and an 8MP under-display front camera, the phone runs on a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Lastly, the 7S runs on Magic 5.0, based on Android 12.

On the other hand, the higher-end 7S Pro model has almost identical features. The main differences can be seen in the 120Hz refresh rate (surprisingly lower than the standard model) and the addition of the Red Core 1 to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. There are also improvements in the Ice 10.0 cooling system and the 5,000mAh battery which supports a higher 135W fast charging support. The front camera has also been upgraded to 16MP.

The devices will come in a special edition hexagonal-shaped box with a Bumblebee-inspired external cooler, a protective cover, and a few other accessories, just to add to the appeal.
