The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is the latest premium roadster motorcycle to be launched by the iconic Indian brand, with bookings starting today for deliveries to begin in August 2024 across India, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Priced at Rs. 2,39,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai) onwards, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla has a 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, and is based on the Sherpa platform. The new motorcycle delivers up to 40PS and 40NM of torque, and has a six-speed gearbox.
Pitched as a motorbike that is in its element both within the city as well as on the highway, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is claimed to be powerful and agile enough to suitably manage all riding environments. Other useful features include an 11L fuel tank for long riding range, LED headlights, and switchable riding modes. Riders can choose between performance and eco, which changes the throttle response and fuel consumption according to what kind of ride you're looking for.
The entry-level variant features an analogue instrument cluster, while the mid and top variants - priced at Rs. 2,49,000 and Rs. 2,54,000 respectively - come with the Tripper Dash, a 4-inch infotainment cluster. The new system works with the RE app to provide greater insights on rides including navigation, music controls, weather forecasts, and bike information.
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is available in six different colours, depending on the variant chosen. Availability is expected to expand to other countries beyond India, the UK, and Europe later this year.
