If you are in the market for a mid-range smartphone, Samsung has dropped a new device rather quietly, and it’s called the Galax A23 5G. On paper it seems to offer some interesting features with a price tag of ₹19,999.
It sports a 6.6in Infinity-V display with a full-HD+ resolution. The company hasn’t revealed the name of the processor yet, but we do know that the phone will be powered by an octa-core SoC. When it comes to RAM you get three options – 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. For storage, you get the choice of 64GB and 128GB (expandable up to 1TB via microSD).
When it comes to the USP of this handset, it is the cameras. There’s a quad cam setup at the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP depth sensor. To ensure the front doesn't feel left out, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls with your long-distance heartthrob. All this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy A23 5G comes with support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. Colour variants include, black, white, peach, and blue.
