Samsung has been playing an aggressive game in the midfield with its Galaxy A and Galaxy M series. After the recent launch of the Galaxy M33, the brand has now added yet another mid-ranger, called the Galaxy M53.
Among the phone’s highlights is its photography chops. The quad-camera setup at the back includes a 108MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, nestled in the punch-hole is a 32MP selfie shooter.
Other features include a 6.7in Super AMOLED display with 2408x1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip paired with up to 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.
The 5G supporting device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. On the software front, it runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.
Prices for the new Samsung Galaxy M53 start from ₹26,499 for the 6GB variant, and go up to ₹25,999 for the 8GB variant. Colour options include blue and green, and sales are set to kick off later this week.
