The Sub Mini, which is a new cylindrical design, is intended for use in smaller to medium-sized areas and is compatible with less expensive Sonos equipment, such as the Sonos Ray and Beam soundbars, as well as the One series and Ikea Symfonosk equipment.
When connected to one of the specified Sonos models, the Sub Mini will primarily handle the low frequencies, allowing the other Sonos devices to focus on mid-range and high frequencies. The Sub Mini uses a strong 5GHz wireless connection to prevent any interference.
Compared to the Sub, the Sub Mini weighs 6.35 kg and measures 23x31x23cm, while the Sub weighs 16kg and measures 39x40x16cm. The Sub Mini includes two 6-inch force-cancelling woofers and two Class-D amplifiers. If using the iOS app, you can use Trueplay to adjust the Sub Mini to fit the room. The Sub Mini's volume remains synced with the connected soundbar or speaker, and the EQ can be adjusted in the Sonos app.
For a change from the usual subwoofer look, the Sub Mini features a round and cylindrical design, it is built on the design of Sub and Sub Mini and comes in matte black and white at a cost of ₹59,999.
