After the breathtaking end to the 2021 season, Formula 1 fans can hardly wait for the new season to kick off. Neither can TAG Heuer it seems. The watchmaker has just dropped a Red Bull Racing Special Edition chronograph.
Sporting a 43mm stainless steel body, it features a blue sunray brushed dial with red accents and yellow chronograph components. The information laid out on the inserts are inspired by the F1 car steering wheels. You’ll find an aluminum tachymeter that lets you calculate speed over a fixed distance at three o’clock, a 1/10th of a second counter at six o’clock, and a 30-minute chronograph counter at the nine o’clock position.
There are quite a few details for Formula 1 fans, like the white starting grid outlines on top of five and seven o’clock positions. On the back is an engraving of the Red Bull Racing emblem, paired with a checkered flag motif.
Strap options include a brushed oyster-style three-link bracelet, and a less traditional blue rubber strap with a stripe and fabric texture. Both versions are now available in the US, and prices for the TAG Heuer Formula 1 x Red Bull Racing Special Edition start from $2,000 (approx ₹1,49,200).
