There are commuter bikes, then there are the 150-160cc Motorrad that not only create a style statement but also possess the potential to make a dull lad look on fleek. The Apache RTR 160 has been doing this job quite well for the past several years, and now it's the newly launched 2023 Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition bike that's going to make you a hot topic of discussion.
The Special Edition version comes with a lighter exhaust that enhances the power-to-weight ratio with a 1 kg weight reduction adding to the exhilarating power delivery. The bike also sports the first-in-segment adjustable clutch and brake levers, and colour-coordinated black & red alloy wheels.
The 2023 iteration is powered by a 159.7 cc, oil-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine that produces a power output of 17.55 PS at 9250 rpm and a peak torque of 14.73 Nm at 7250 rpm, mated to a slick five-speed gearbox.
There is a new Pearl White colour variant along with the already existing Matte Black Special Edition. The bike is priced at ₹ 1,30,090 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and can be purchased from TVS Motor Company’s authorised dealerships in India.
