Hold on, you thought your gaming laptop was running on the discrete GPU all the time? Not when there’s Intel 12th Gen running inside. To optimize your battery life and make the slim gaming laptop last longer, the Optimus feature switches between integrated and discrete graphics but Asus ROG thinks all of that is meaningless. Pah! Who needs integrated graphics? So they went ahead and put a MUX switch that physically switches to discrete graphics at all times. It helps bypass Optimus and therefore you get a bit more frames from your games.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 (2022) is going on sale starting April 8. It will be priced from ₹1,79,990. It’s also one of the high-end gaming laptops from ROG so you can expect the best of the best components crammed inside that chassis. There’s an Intel 12th Gen processor along with up to RTX 3080 Ti and up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM.

The Zephyrus M16 is packing a 165Hz QHD display along with Dolby Vision and 3ms of response time. The 16in laptop is also thorough with bezel-bashing and other titbits for a premium gaming laptop experience.
