These Seagate storage drives are dressed in Beskar armour from the Mandalorian

A rare alloy indeed

The Seagate and Lucasfilm collaboration has given us a near-perfect replica of the Beskar Ingot. Although you might not be able to fashion a helmet from it, there are better uses to this high-value ingot.

The Beskar Ingot Drives are available as HDD, SATA SSD and M.2 SSD. Sadly only the HDD will be available in India and in 2TB (₹6,199) and 4TB (₹9,399) capacities. The HDD also has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection and an RGB LED strip around the bottom much like the previous gaming drives from Seagate.

Much like the actual Beskar Ingot, the SATA SSD and the M.2 SSD will be a rare find in the Indian market. You might also have to pony up some extra Galactic Credits to grab them. The M.2 SSD, in particular, is a Gen 4 NVMe SSD with a sequential read of 7,000 MB/s and a sequential write of 6,000 MB/s for the 1TB variant. Meanwhile, the 500GB variant has a lower 3000 MB/s sequential write speed. In short, you can only use the 1TB Beskar M.2 drive for your PlayStation 5 storage expansion. Although, with such a beautiful heatsink, we doubt you’d want to tuck it inside a PS5’s side plate.

There’s also a Halo Infinite HDD coming to India starting February. It will be available in 2TB (₹8,499) and 5TB (₹12,499) on the Amazon India website.
