The Vu Vibe TV is launched in India and is touted as the world’s first QLED TV with an integrated soundbar, designed to enhance voice clarity. Tailored for the OTT viewing experience, it features an 88-watt soundbar built directly into the TV. The soundbar is connected to an AI-powered dual amplifier chip on the TV’s motherboard, optimising audio performance and ensuring dialogues and details are delivered with clear precision.
The Vu Vibe TV features two speakers and two tweeters housed in an engineered cavity, ensuring distortion-free and fully immersive sound, as per Vu. Its sound mode allows you to switch off the screen while continuing to enjoy music. You can stream music wirelessly from Spotify and YouTube, and connect multiple devices via wired and wireless options. The TV offers five sound modes – Sound Only, Cinema, Night, Dolby Audio, and Pure Surround, catering to various listening preferences and viewing scenarios.
The TV features a QLED display with an IPS panel that delivers 400 nits of brightness. Combining LEDs with quantum dots, the Vu Vibe TV is claimed to offer an immersive experience for movies, shows, gaming and sports. The Vu Vibe TV has a remote that includes picture and sound hotkeys for quick access to various modes. Unique to this model is the Cricket Picture Mode, offering a level of detail beyond standard sports modes. Vu says the Cricket Sound Mode enhances the audio experience by letting you hear even the faintest nick of the ball, giving you an edge over the third umpire.
Under the hood, the Vu Vibe TV is powered by an AI processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Running on Google TV OS, it also offers a personalised interface for browsing content across apps. It allows you to add to your watchlist or search for content directly from your phone, and supports streaming via Chromecast. Pricing starts at ₹30,999 for the 43-inch model, ₹35,999 for the 50-inch model, ₹41,999 for the 55-inch model, and ₹58,999 for the 65-inch model.
