Does it hit different?

The previous WWE game was barely playable so 2K went back to the drawing board and chalked out a fresh new game with an all-new game engine, new controls, new game modes and better graphics.

Rey Mysterio is in the front and centre of the game in the 2K Showcase. You’ll get to play as Rey Mysterio and wrestle through his most famous matches in his 20-year WWE career. There are also documentary-style interviews and a new Slingshot Tech that allows for a seamless transition from gameplay to live-action footage as you complete objectives.

Obviously, you get all of the other game modes here as well. MyFaction mode lets you take on WWE challenges as a single player but also lets you build, curate and manage your own team. You get to create your four-person factions and even have control over the logos, wallpapers and other marketing pizzazz.

The classic MyRise game mode takes you from a rookie to a rockstar. And you have the Universe option that lets you customize the whole WWE experience. But of course, if you think you can do a better job than McMahon then, by all means, try the MyGM where you can manage behind the scenes of everything WWE.

The game is available now and there are five post-launch content packs on the way. Folks like Machine Gun Kelly, Logan Paul, Ronda Rousey, Yokozuna and Rob Van Dam are going to be added in the coming months.
