The Xiaomi 12 Pro is one of the first smartphones to finally put the Mi moniker to rest. Although it drops the Mi moniker, it gains a lot of premium features. Starting from the inside, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is sitting in the heart of the smartphone along with 8GB and 12GB RAM.
There’s also a WQHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay spanning across 6.73in real estate but that's just scratching the surface (don’t worry there’s a Gorilla Glass Victus protection to protect it from scratches as well). The display supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ along with 120Hz refresh rate with adaptive sync that can drop the refresh rate to 1Hz depending on the content.
On the back, Xiaomi has stuck to triple lenses and avoided all marketing gimmicks. We know because we have the smartphone and stay tuned for the full review coming soon. But to give you a gist, the rear camera has a triple 50MP camera array. Which means the main, ultra-wide and the telephoto lenses have 50MP resolution. You can also do Night Mode on all three cameras.
Oh, and there’s a 120W fast charger. Fast could be an understatement but yes, if you absolutely despise slow charging the 120W wired charging is faster than it takes you to have a bath. Also, the smartphone can also do 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 12 Pro will be available for ₹62,999 (8GB/256GB) and ₹66,999 (12GB/256GB) starting today.
