Xiaomi’s popular and feature-packed fitness band lineup gets a new entrant. The new Xiaomi Band 7 may look similar to its predecessor, but it sports a larger screen, longer battery life and supports more sports modes.

Xiaomi has launched two variants of the fitness tracker – Band 7 and Band 7 NFC. The band features a 1.62in AMOLED display with 192 x 490 pixels resolution, and 500 nits of max brightness.

Despite the bigger screen, the Band 7 gets longer battery life courtesy of a 180mAh unit. Xiaomi says the battery is good enough to last up to nine days on a single charge or up to 15 days on standby mode. It incorporates the same magnetic charger like the Xiaomi Band 6.

As for its tracking capabilities, it now recognises over 120 sports, and can also monitor heart-rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep, and more. It uses Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting to devices running Android 6.0 or iOS 10.0 and above.

The band can be personalised by swapping between wristbands that are available in white, black, blue, pink, green and orange colours. Prices start from ¥249 (approx ₹2,905) for the Xiaomi Band 7, and go up to ¥299 (approx ₹3,485) for the Xiaomi Band 7 NFC variant.
